Rust Belt Nation is a new apparel company based in Camden, New Jersey, founded with a focus on the history and culture of the region. I led the design team at Kworq to develop a visual identity for the company, building around their ethos of uplifting local communities and telling their stories of revitalization.
After several iterations, we settled on a brand mark combining an old gear with a New Jersey violet, symbolizing the transformative nature of the company. I also created a set of assets in the style of old highway maps, meant to evoke the aesthetics of vintage Americana.
